We had a great holiday in the States, spending a week in Virginia and a few days in Washington DC.  We got to see some friends and their new baby too!

We've just returned from a few days of camping.  Kate didn't sleep very well in the tent, but she LOVED the beach.  Hopefully she will get used to the tent! 

Now it's back to work on Monday...

Kate's first camping trip

Back in early October, Kate and I went on an impromptu camping trip with my parents in Fitzroy Provincial Park. I was Kate's first time sleeping in a tent!

Unfortunately it was rather COLD (almost freezing), so she did not really like having to sleep in so many layers. But we survived!

She did like campfires and canoeing though...
